 Trout Tips Minimize

Trout Fishing Tips

  • Locating Fish - The use of polarized sunglasses is recommended. They reduce glare and enable you to spot fish beneath the water's surface.
  • Murky Water - You can get away with using heavier line and sinkers in murky water conditions. The murky water will help conceal heavier line and a heavier sinker is usually required due to high water and faster currents.
  • Clear Water - Use clear nylon sewing thread or two pound test line on a clear sunny day. Trout tend to see larger line and shy away in clear water conditions. They will also tend to school up in deep holes when the water level is low.
