I for one will stay away from the Imo's Pizza in Arnold ,Mo.
Below is an email that was sent to them over a week ago with no response from the store manager or owner. Very dissappointed and will never buy anything from Imo's again.
Dear Imo's
I wanted to tell you about a bad experience that I had with your establishment this past Monday at your Arnold , Mo. location. I usually go there at least twice a week on my lunch break and my wife and I eat at your Festus location regularly because we like your food the best. But that is going to change. On Monday 05/09/2011at 12:45pm I clocked out for my 30 min. lunch break and as I was leaving the building I called to place an order so I would not be late getting back. The man that answered the phone put me on hold. I remained on hold the entire 15 minutes that it took me to drive there. I thought that they may just be busy but when I arrived and walked in the door there was no one in the place (still on hold !!!) So I hung up my pre paid phone and asked the guy at the counter what the hell was going on that I had been on hold for the last 15 minutes charging my phone $1.50. He proceeded to tell me that I may have called the wrong number because he did not put anyone on hold or that maybe it was one of the girls.Even after I showed him my phone and that I had called the right number he proceeded with his little charade by going back and asking the girls if they put anyone on hold although he was the only man in the building and I did recognize his voice he still denied it.. As he continued to call me a liar I went ahead with my order because I was already running late for my lunch break. I went back to work clocking in late which also caused me to be docked for 15 minutes pay costing me another $4.00. Now , needless to say , I am pretty furious about this and unless something is done about it I will never return to your establishment again. It wouldn't have been so bad if the man at the counter had admitted his mistake instead of standing there lying in my face in front of other customers that walked in after me but after he had already pissed me off he offered to buy me a drink for my trouble. I should have went to McDonalds where my Ice tea would not have cost me $5.50 ,a late occurance on my work record , and all the other aggravation and embarrassment of being called liar. I would like to think that Imo's is a respectable establishment and I doubt that the management would stand for this type of behavior out of their employees.
P.S. We did have pizza for dinner last night. But it was DOMINO's it was better than the service I recieved at Imo's
